The Digital Marketing Executive (DME) role involved reviewing a clients website and designing a plan to help with complying with Google Guidelines and Google Search Engine Optimisation techniques to improve the client’s website performance in their target market. Following a detailed analysis of the clients website performance, a plan is created to focus on areas of the website that need improvement to return the best results in Google’s search engine based on the clients business related keywords. It is a dual function role, split into account management and implementation. Account management is responsible for the clients site plan, development and remote meetings, and the implementation is where you work with other account managers by performing the tasks set out in each monthly plan.

  • Website performance research using SEMRush, Majestic & Internal systems
  • Website keyword research (submitted to client, order copy, upload and interlink)
  • Backlink reviewing, content writing and linking
  • Writing briefs for copywriters and uploading provided content with site interlinking
  • Website development planning (site plan, website structure, url development)
  • On-page website optimisation (Page Titles, Meta Descriptions, H1 Tags etc.)
  • Off-page website optimisation (Backlinks, Social Media etc.)
  • Website updates (WordPress, Joomla, OpenCart)
  • Google Tools (Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Adwords, Page Performance, Mobile site testing)
