Following my redundancy from OpenGI, I was contact by one of their customers (Lorica Consulting) who had 4 branches using the OpenGI soltion.

During my interview they said that this would be an initial 6 month contract, but would evolve into full time employment at the conclusion, so I thought no more about it and accepted the oportunity.

During my time at Lorica, I completed a major update of the OpenGI systems at the head office which would have cost the company in excess of £100,000 if they had employed OpenGI to complete the task, and I would most likely have been the engineer to do it if I was still there.

I also provided support for their Microsoft solutions in addition to end user support. Unfortunatly, I found out that their plan was for me to complete all the projects within six months and not renew my contract or offer full time employment.
