Job Description
Lorica consulting were one of OpenGI’s largest customers with 4 sites. When I worked for OpenGI, I was the senior engineer and project manager for the site, and when my employment finished at OpenGI, I was approached by Lorica to support and maintain their systems.
Role Responsibilities
Responsible for all Windows & OpenGI (Misys) systems at 4 Branches
Responsibe for all northern offices in the group, management of the internal IT systems, which include; Windows 2003 domains, SQL Server 2005, Exchange 2003, Dell hardware platform, OpenGI Insurance Systems

- Technical Support for Windows 2003 R2 Servers, Exchange 2000 Servers, SQL Servers, Citrix Servers
- Office Move & Staff Relocation Project
- Branch Data Transfer & Integration Project
- Desktop, Application and End User Support
- Team Support, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line Support
- Application Deployment – Terminal Server / Citrix
- OpenGI Server Configuration / Upgrades / Application Deployment (Open-I, OpenWord, OpenConnect)
- Windows Server Administration – Active Directory, Group Policy, Server Management, Backup Exec
- Desktop Replacement Rollout – Desktop Setup / File & Settings Transfer
- Branch Familiarization & Documentation Project
- License Management (Terminal Server / Citrix)
- Remote Desktop Support (4 Branches)
- Server, Switch & UPS Management
